Students learn to identify compassionate acts in this fast- paced card game, building a foundational understanding of compassion.
Students view a story through the lens of each character to understand empathy and how it can lead to compassion. By entering each character’s perspective, students learn that people can experience the same event differently and that understanding how someone else feels can help them have more empathy for others.
Students navigate a maze of everyday obstacles that might cause negative emotions such as getting a bad grade or arguing with a friend. When the obstacles become too big to avoid, students practice mindful breathing in order to clear the path and get to the next level.
